Forward‑Deployed AI Engineer
Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer (Technology Consultant 2) in Raleigh, NC to help deliver reliable AI-enabled software solutions. In this onsite role, you will work close to teams to support requirements, design, implementation, testing, and ongoing production stability.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned portions of business requirements according to provided guidance.
- Support application design discussions, capturing design decisions to align the technical team on how solutions will be built.
- Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with an emphasis on maintaining system stability.
- Perform code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
- Implement and execute test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
- Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to support a smooth transition to new applications.
- Take an active role in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to strengthen the knowledge base for similar projects.
