Job Description

Deloitte’s Engineering as a Service team is seeking a Full Stack Developer (Software Engineer II) to design, build, and enhance custom software solutions for strategy and program management applications. In this role, you will help re-architect and modernize a high-visibility system, developing and validating components and supporting their integration into new or updated platforms.

Working within Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice, you will collaborate with users and system engineers to translate needs into technical and performance requirements, while also contributing to strategy, design, and delivery across the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and modify software systems and custom components using a modern development stack
  • Develop software solutions by reviewing system performance standards, systems flow, data usage, and work processes, in partnership with users and system engineers
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems
  • Develop and execute test procedures for software components
  • Analyze user requirements to derive technical software design and performance requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • 1+ years of experience as a full-stack developer using Java and Angular
  • 1+ years of experience with front-end web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Ability to travel 10-15%, on average, based on work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Location: Washington, DC (onsite). Experience: 1+ years. Education: Bachelor's degree. Compensation: A reasonable estimate of the current wage range is $88,600 to $147,600 per year.
