Job Description

Industrial Data Analytics Engineer role at Leoforce in McElhattan, PA (onsite), focusing on data analytics, infrastructure, and governance to optimize data-driven decisions in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining.
  • Perform data warehouse analysis and testing, including debugging, tracking, and resolution.
  • Analyze raw data to draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations with Tableau, Pentaho, or similar tools.
  • Automate tasks and processes using Power Automate or similar tools.
  • Develop protocols and manage the data governance process to ensure data integrity and privacy.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to establish data infrastructure needs and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server, MySQL, and MS Access.
  • Experience in analyzing raw data and creating reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Pentaho.
  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience with Power Automate or similar tools for task automation.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for turning raw data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present data in a manner that is understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in handling sensitive data with discretion and ensuring data privacy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
