Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work within the scheduled hours and timeline.
- Assist in developing project specifications.
- Develop discipline-specific engineering elements and deliverables such as reports, designs, and plans.
- Aid in coordinating and increasing the productivity of the project team.
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineering team members.
- Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
- Perform quality control reviews of discipline specific deliverables.
- Assist with planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work within the discipline.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s degree in Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience, or
- PhD in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience

Location and work arrangement
This is an onsite role based in San Antonio, TX (McAllister Freeway). The position includes field inspections of highway bridges, roadway construction, material testing, and construction related administrative duties. Nighttime and weekend work may be required. Work will primarily be in the San Antonio area, including Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Guadalupe, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, McMullen, Uvalde, and Wilson Counties, with occasional assignments in Austin, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, and El Paso. This is not a remote position.
