Information Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Under the general supervision of the Information Security Chief, implement and maintain information security solutions for the organization.
• Provide leadership and support for security and related technical operations.
• Maintain a broad working knowledge of computer systems architecture and administration, including workstations, servers, and networks.
• Participate actively in fulfilling the Mission and Vision of Blessing Hospital.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or typically 5 or more years related work experience, including a track record of risk assessment, problem identification, analytical problem-solving, and issue resolution.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask.
• Process-oriented working style.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• One or more required security certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), CISSP, HCISSP, or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Schedule and Pay

Location: Blessing Hospital · BCS INFORMATION SECURITY (Onsite), Quincy, IL

Schedule: Full-Time, Days, 40 hours weekly, 8:00am–5:00pm

Pay Status: Exempt

Hourly Pay: $44.78–$67.17 base, based on relevant experience

Minimum Experience: 5 years · Education: Bachelor's degree
