Job Description
Support a critical segment of the Information Security team by administering, maintaining, and improving enterprise security capabilities on-site in Pontiac, MI.
Responsibilities
- Configure network and computing systems to enforce security policies and audit controls in advanced technology environments
- Execute security architecture roadmap items aligned to priorities organized by the Security Architect, including cloud-based initiatives
- Lead design, construction, and implementation phases for complex security systems and projects
- Support risk assessments, penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, incident response and investigation, and cybercrime response
- Research emerging technologies to drive security enhancements and support application development efforts
- Directly support security technology platforms, including next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls, security information and event management, endpoint security, vulnerability scanners, and other supporting tools
- Serve as a lead mentor to help improve the overall skill levels of the Information Security team
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Information Security roles of increasing responsibility, with strong familiarity across network and application security
- Extensive experience with offensive security tools, concepts, and procedures
- Ability to understand security concepts and communicate effectively with the Information Security, IT Operations, and Application Development teams across all information security domains
- Highly ethical approach and excellent written communication, with strong analytic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work 100% on-site in Pontiac, MI

Nice to have qualifications
- A four-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent post-secondary education and experience
- Certifications such as CSSLP, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA, CCNA, CCNP, ACE, PCNSE, F5-CTS, F5-CSE, Security+, or other pertinent industry-recognized certifications
- Experience implementing a cloud-based Security Infrastructure
- Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry
