IT Administrator & Software Engineer (Django / React Native)

Cool Cat Fence offers a hands-on, team-first environment on site in Tukwila, WA. This role blends Django and React Native development with IT and infrastructure responsibilities, with an even 50/50 split between software work and IT operations. The position pays $25.00 to $30.00 per hour and includes health insurance and paid time off. You will have the opportunity to own core systems and directly influence the company’s growth through collaborative, cross-department work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal applications using Django and React Native
• Develop backend logic, APIs, and integrations
• Create scripts and workflow automations using Python, JavaScript, and Google Apps Script
• Improve system architecture and application performance
• Support and expand internal tools and platforms
• Work on integrations between platforms such as ServiceTitan, GoHighLevel, Google Workspace, and internal systems
• Manage and support internal IT systems and company software
• Maintain tools such as Google Workspace, ServiceTitan, GoHighLevel, WordPress, and internal systems
• Troubleshoot technical issues and help minimize downtime
• Assist with device management, networking, permissions, and system setup
• Maintain documentation and system organization
• Support day-to-day technical operations across departments

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Django
• Experience with React Native
• Experience working with APIs and system integrations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
• Organized, reliable, and proactive
• Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment
