IT Security Engineer

This onsite IT Security Engineer role in Foster City, CA focuses on enterprise security initiatives within the Security Department, with an emphasis on deploying Netskope and managing data loss prevention policies. You will oversee end-to-end security platform lifecycles, work across teams to integrate security solutions with existing infrastructure and identity providers, and monitor security alerts to keep the enterprise protected. Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of Netskope Next-Generation Secure Web Gateway (NG SWG) and Netskope Network Private Access (NPA).
• Develop, implement, and validate Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across diverse enterprise environments.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of security platforms to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions with existing infrastructure and identity providers.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents related to web traffic and private application access.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in network security, cloud security, or information security engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing Netskope NG SWG and/or NPA in an enterprise environment.
• Proven track record in developing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
• Solid understanding of zero-trust network access (ZTNA) principles and architectures.
• Proficiency with SSL/TLS inspection, proxy architectures, and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) functionality.
