The Opportunity
As an experienced AI and ML engineer, you will train, test, deploy, and maintain models that analyze large datasets and inform DoD programs. You will help shape AI strategy and partner across engineering and product teams to deliver robust, mission‑critical solutions. Your expertise will guide clients through the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks to support innovation and mission success.
Responsibilities
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain data‑driven models that improve decision making.
- Define the direction of mission‑critical AI solutions to enable faster mission outcomes.
- Join a large, cross‑functional ML community and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver a broad set of AI use cases.
- Leverage your technical depth to guide clients through ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks to implement effective solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in artificial intelligence, data science, or ML engineering, including developing and deploying models
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Experience coding in at least one common language (Python, C++, Rust, or Java)
- Background in deep learning, computer vision, or generative AI
- Experience with data handling and model development
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools for coding, such as Cursor
- Strong client problem‑solving ability
