Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy data driven solutions aimed at enhancing business performance and competitive edge, covering data engineering and ETL processes.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to uncover strategic insights and support data informed decision making for clients, including SQL optimization.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines to enable efficient data collection and analysis, leveraging DataStage.
  • Use business intelligence tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence and QlikView to deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards, incorporating DB2 and SQL Server data sources.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze data from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends, utilizing star schemas and dimensional modeling.
  • Apply data architecture development skills to design and sustain robust database management systems, including snowflake style models.
  • Participate in ongoing process improvement to elevate data quality and integrity.
  • Support client engagement by actively listening and addressing diverse perspectives and needs within regulated environments.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and market development strategies through data analysis and interpretation.
  • Adapt to a fast paced environment and take ownership of tasks to consistently deliver quality work, including experience with job scheduling and UNIX.

What Sets You Apart

  • Preference for study in one of several fields including Computer and Information Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related programs.
  • Proficiency in Python and Java programming.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as QlikView and Spotfire.
  • Background in developing business intelligence solutions using Oracle BI.
  • Experience in data architecture development and management.
  • Ability to apply macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis techniques.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation capabilities.
