MBSE Systems Engineer
Job Description
The MBSE Systems Engineer role provides technical and advisory support to the Targets Program Office and drives MBSE design standardization across the program portfolio. This on-site position is based in Huntsville, Alabama and requires a Bachelor's degree, seven or more years of related experience, and an active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of the Government Reference Architecture MBSE solution across the Targets Program Office.
- Author process documents, develop template frameworks, and establish metric reporting methods to enable MBSE execution for current and future programs.
- Analyze requirements to create and maintain the Government Reference Architecture model in Cameo.
- Perform and guide systems engineering activities to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs.
- Conduct functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools.
- Define requirements and apply MBSE-based functional analysis for system development.
- Assist in requirements development and management efforts across programs.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of missile defense related or other DoD program experience
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), preferably with direct DoD system experience
- Ability to train others on MBSE concepts and tools
- Experience with architecture modeling languages used in DoD contexts such as DoDAF and UAF
