This role blends internal application engineering with sales support to help international accounts through distributors, channel partners, sales agents, and direct customers. Based in Scottsdale, AZ, you will support technical quotations, engineering requests, and ongoing CRM maintenance for Interface products.
Role Summary
As an International Applications Engineer at Interface, Inc., you will provide international account support and assist with technical quotation and engineering request workflows. The position focuses on analogue strain gauge sensors, load cells, torque transducers, and related instrumentation, while maintaining organized CRM records and ensuring timely follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare clear, accurate quotations for current and prospective customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond proactively to engineering requests and purchase orders, ensuring documents are complete and accurate within 24 hours.
- Apply technical expertise to recommend the correct and most suitable technical solution.
- Maintain strong internal communication with sales colleagues and the broader Interface team to support customer needs.
- Provide strong CRM support using Salesforce, ensuring contacts and information are recorded and organized.
- Stay informed about Interface product developments and competitive offerings.
- Build product expertise to deliver effective technical support to assigned channel and customer accounts.
- Contribute effectively to company growth.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school or GED; associated degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in inside sales of a technical product.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and the Microsoft suite, including Word and Excel, plus Power-Bi and additional internal ERP systems.
- Strong listening and communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
- Ability to develop or apply knowledge of products using the same or similar technology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain customer support relationships.
- Ability to understand and adapt when working with people from different cultures.
- Capability to quickly understand different applications and recommend the correct engineering solution in a positive manner.

Compensation
$60,000 - $65,000 USD per year (listed pay range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year).
