Mechanical Professional Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design of HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler systems
• Heating load, cooling load, and energy calculations
• Collaboration with other engineers, architects, interior designers and landscape architects to develop creative design solutions
• Evaluation and development of highly efficient HVAC systems including Geothermal, VRF, and energy recovery systems
• Plumbing calculations and design
• Sprinkler calculations and design
• Preparation of specifications and cost estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET) degree from an accredited university
• 10+ years of experience
• HVAC and Plumbing Design experience
• Engineering License in Maine or New Hampshire or the ability to obtain through reciprocity
• Strong written and oral communications
• U.S Citizenship
• Professional Engineer (Required)
