Role Overview

As a Lead Engineer for Transmission Lines, you will provide leadership and senior technical expertise on complex high voltage and extra high voltage overhead transmission projects. You will ensure client requirements for quality and schedule are met while keeping the team engaged and valued for input. The role requires hands-on leadership and involvement in line routing, survey coordination, PLS-CADD modeling, structure and foundation design, clearance checks, plan/profile development, material specification and procurement, constructability evaluations, work order package preparation, permitting, vendor and subcontractor coordination, and construction support.

WGM Group is seeking a mid-level Transportation Design Engineer to join our Missoula team in the Northern Rockies. The firm is a multidisciplinary civil engineering, planning and design practice. Responsibilities

The Senior Structural Engineer leads the design engineering and detailing group on a day-to-day basis. Qualifications & Experience

Education: BS in Civil or Structural Engineering; MS preferred. Experience: 10+ years of structural engineering experience, including at least 5+ years specifically in precast and prestressed concrete design.

Standards & Technical Proficiency

Industry standards and codes: strong knowledge of PCI Design Handbook, IBC, ASCE-7, ACI 318, and AISC Steel Construction Manual 360, along with ASCE-7. Technical tools: proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and other structural design software; solid MS Office skills (Excel and Word).

Leadership & Communication
