Job Description

This onsite mid-level Water/Wastewater Engineer role is based in Miami, Florida, and focuses on planning, designing, and supporting water and wastewater facilities, including construction oversight and on-site testing. The position offers an annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 140,000.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and execute engineering tasks spanning a range of project sizes.
  • Develop processes for water and wastewater treatment facilities, providing engineering support and construction oversight.
  • Prepare engineering designs, technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water-related infrastructure.
  • Generate technical memos and digital deliverables, conduct data analysis, and support construction-phase activities.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of junior engineers, designers, technicians, and other team members on assigned tasks.
  • Provide engineering support throughout the construction process.
  • Participate in on-site activities such as pilot studies and field testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • 6 to 12 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on critical thinking and creative problem solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Design and construction phase experience.
