Mid Level Water/Wastewater Engineer

Lead water and wastewater infrastructure planning and delivery from design through construction in Walnut Creek.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute engineering work for water and wastewater projects across a range of scope and size
• Manage project budgets, timelines, contract requirements, and quality standards
• Create engineering design deliverables including technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water-related projects
• Prepare technical documentation and reports plus digital deliverables; perform data analysis and support projects through construction phases
• Oversee and coordinate assigned work for staff engineers, technicians, drafters, and other team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer registration
• 6 to 12 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering (WTP/WWTP)
• Demonstrated experience managing design and construction phases of water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects of varying sizes, with full accountability for budget, schedule, contract compliance, and quality standards
• Ability to deliver high quality services while meeting budget and schedule constraints
• Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Role Details

• Location: Walnut Creek, CA (onsite)
• Salary: USD 105,000 - 155,000 per year
• Experience: Minimum 6 years
