Overview

Position: Paver and Tile Engineer I, Tradesman at Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort. Following a comprehensive property wide renovation, The Diplomat enters a new chapter as Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort. We are seeking a Paver and Tile Engineer I Tradesman to join the property operations team. Located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, the resort features 1,000 guest rooms and suites, more than 200,000 square feet of meeting and event space, multiple oceanfront ballrooms, and six dynamic food and beverage outlets. The ideal candidate possesses commercial paving and tiling experience, maintains a flexible schedule, and is passionate about hospitality. Shift Pattern: Tuesday through Saturday, full availability required. Pay Rate: $36.40 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders promptly, in a courteous and efficient manner, to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and equipment.
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and masonry.
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs to prevent downtime.
• Record completed repairs and note items requiring further attention for follow-up.
