Job Description

Join a remote, contract role helping advance how AI models understand and handle cybersecurity. As a Product Security Engineer - AI Trainer, you will evaluate AI-generated security content and work on security-focused technical problems that directly support the next generation of AI security models. This position is paid hourly and completed using your own computer, with the flexibility to choose which projects you take on and when you work.

Location: New Mexico (remote). Job type: contract. Compensation: $50 to $100 USD per hour.

What you will do

  • Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, to confirm real-world accuracy and validity.
  • Design and solve security-focused technical problems that are used to train AI systems.
  • Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
  • Provide feedback that helps shape the quality and direction of future AI security models.

What you bring

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent work, including government or military cyber operations.
  • Coding experience is required, with comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
  • English fluency (native or bilingual level) and strong technical writing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar credentials.
