Product Security Engineer - AI Trainer
Job Description
The Product Security Engineer - AI Trainer role supports the development of next-generation AI security systems by assessing AI-generated cybersecurity content and producing security-focused training tasks.
Role Summary
In this contract position, you will help train AI models by evaluating AI outputs for real-world accuracy and building technical security problems that guide model behavior. The work is fully remote with flexible scheduling and hourly compensation.
Responsibilities
- Assess AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, to confirm real-world accuracy and validity.
- Create and solve security-focused technical problems that are used to train AI systems.
- Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code connected to the training materials.
- Deliver feedback that directly informs and improves subsequent generations of AI security models.
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or closely related fields. Government or military cyber operations experience is included.
- Some coding experience is required, with comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
- English fluency (native or bilingual) and strong writing skills.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar.
