Job Description

The Product Security Engineer - AI Trainer role supports the training of AI models by reviewing AI-generated security content and developing security-focused technical problems that improve model quality. This is a remote contract position with a flexible schedule arranged through a platform assessment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess AI-generated cybersecurity content for real-world accuracy and validity, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques.
  • Create and solve security-focused technical problems that are used to train AI systems.
  • Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
  • Provide feedback that directly informs improvements to subsequent generations of AI security models.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related work, including government or military cyber operations.
  • Some coding experience; comfort navigating and patching a codebase is important.
  • English fluency (native or bilingual level) with strong writing skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, for example OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar.
