Elkton, MD (Onsite) role with ATAS International Inc: you will coordinate project work between customers and internal teams for ATAS Metalwërks products, helping deliver projects that meet on-time schedules and quality standards. The position supports design and documentation through accurate shop drawings, fabrication packages, and material take-offs, while collaborating with clients, vendors, and installers to keep work moving.

Salary: USD 76,218 - 91,789 per year. Experience: 2+ years. Education: Bachelor’s preferred.

What You’ll Do

Design, draft, and detail project deliverables including shop drawings, fabrication packages, and material take-offs.
Provide technical support to the sales team throughout customer engagements.
Support procurement documentation by facilitating purchase requisitions and bills of materials, including creating bills of material and material requisitions.
Assist with custom products and design questions by preparing CAD drawings, drafting new and existing products, and producing standard details, construction-specific details, and assembly installation drawings.
Partner with Production by updating and drafting documentation, providing quality assurance details, and preparing cut and bend details for custom designed products.
Complete qualitative and quantitative assessments of architectural metal work from architectural and structural drawings, then identify opportunities and develop proposals for lump sum engineered sales (furnish only) or contract sales (furnish and install).
Identify opportunities that align with company resources and values, supporting profit maximization.
Collaborate with select specialty trade subcontractors (Glass Curtain walls, Ornamental Metals, Metal panel contractors) and General Contractors or Construction Managers to expand company sales opportunities.
Manage existing relationships and develop new ones to grow repeat customer business across the country.
Work with architects during project development by providing design consultations on the use of ATAS products and services.
Build and maintain networking relationships with customers, key vendors, and service providers to coordinate the collaborative effort needed for emerging opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Two to four year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination in the construction field.
AutoCAD certification or equivalent work experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals and technical procedures.
Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems.
Ability to effectively present information, both orally and in writing, and respond to questions.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts including geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.
Experience with 2D and 3D drafting software as it applies to sheet metal construction.
Familiarity with programming for computer-aided-machining, Revit 2013, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Windows, and skill with MS Excel and MS Word.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and develop solutions.
Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle several abstract and concrete variables.
Understanding of the overview of machine structure and functioning principle of the machine.
