Project Lead Software Engineer

Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team is seeking a Project Lead Software Engineer II to develop, test, maintain, and support application integrations and related components that support sustainment operations. This role focuses on delivering enhancements and defect fixes, validating solutions against acceptance criteria, and coordinating with technical teams to keep mission services stable.

Core Responsibilities

• Implement approved enhancements and defect fixes, including participation in code review, unit and integration testing, release preparation, and incident troubleshooting.
• Document technical designs, changes, and support procedures to support sustained operational readiness.
• Coordinate with the Custom Development Lead, Product Management, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity teams to clarify requirements, manage dependencies, and validate solutions against acceptance criteria.
• Identify application performance, security, reliability, and deployment risks promptly.
• Provide dependable development support to maintain stable mission services.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 6+ years of experience with PHP.
• 4+ years of experience with Linux (Red Hat), Apache Tomcat, and MySQL.

• Compensation: USD 116,200 - 193,600 per year
