Security Engineer

Advanced Image Inc. is hiring a Security Engineer to serve as a leadership member of the Met Council Information Security team. In this remote role, you will implement and support a broad set of information security tools and services, while providing thought leadership to help the organization stay ahead of evolving threats and technologies.

What you’ll be doing

• Implement, configure, and tune security tools and services used at the Council.
• Monitor the threat landscape and recommend technologies and controls to address emerging risks.
• Integrate security solutions with infrastructure and applications; maintain runbooks.
• Conduct health checks, upgrades, and patching; validate detections and coverage.
• Work with IS teams to embed security by design, providing ongoing thought leadership.
• Document configurations and operational procedures to support audits and compliance activities.
• Provide knowledge transfer to support team readiness.

What you bring

• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, OSCP, or an equivalent credential.
• 5 years of experience in a Security role.
• 3 years of experience with security frameworks and compliance standards, including NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, and CIS Controls.
• 3 years of experience working in zero-trust, cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint protection, and/or network segmentation.
• Experience with identity governance, privileged access management, and multi-factor authentication solutions.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $103,324.55 - $160,000.00 per year
