Job Description
E-Infosol LLC is seeking a Security Engineer to lead security engineering work across multiple systems in Vienna, VA.
Responsibilities
- Lead security engineering activities across multiple systems, including designing and implementing security controls
- Support cloud-based platforms and help advance organizational security posture
- Provide technical mentorship while ensuring alignment with security policies, defense-in-depth principles, and organizational cybersecurity requirements
- Secure enterprise applications, cloud environments, and critical infrastructure
- Drive proactive monitoring and threat detection
- Support incident response and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Active Top-Secret clearance; ability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field preferred
- Experience securing applications, cloud platforms, networks, and enterprise infrastructure
- Knowledge of incident response, cyber resiliency, vulnerability management, and threat detection
- Experience with cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Proficiency with security monitoring, logging, SIEM, and alerting tools
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control technologies
- Experience developing security policies, procedures, and technical documentation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Security certification experience such as: CISSP, Security+, CCSP, CISM, GIAC, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or similar
- Experience supporting government, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, NIST frameworks, RMF, and related compliance requirements
- Experience with DevSecOps, container security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices
- Experience managing COMSEC resources or cryptographic key management systems
- Familiarity with security automation, SOAR platforms, and advanced threat hunting techniques
- Exposure to secure work in air gapped, hybrid, and on-premise operational environments
- Experience with Kubernetes and distributed systems management
- Comfort working across secure systems involving GPUs and hyperconverged nodes
- Experience relevant to multi-tenant cross-domain solutions (CDS)
- Exposure to development areas including TypeScript/React/Python/FastAPI, and secure integration across backend and middleware components
- Experience integrating reasoning components, retrieval systems, databases, and AI/GenAI services
- Use of modern programming languages and frameworks

Location: Vienna, VA (onsite) | Salary: USD 160,000 - 170,000 per year
