Semiconductor Process Engineer
Job Description
The Semiconductor Process Engineer will oversee epitaxial growth and process optimization in a high-volume, 24/7 production environment, applying materials science expertise to MOVPE processes in Phoenix.

Responsibilities
- Develop and refine epitaxial growth recipes, analyzing materials characterization data to enable new processes and drive optimization
- Establish SPC methods and monitor reactor metrics to boost production yield and track process capability for continuous improvement
- Lead reactor troubleshooting and analyze production failures, authoring and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Create, document, and approve SOPs and work instructions for reactor management and maintenance activities
- Perform, oversee, schedule, and document all reactor maintenance tasks
- Develop and maintain the reactor schedule for production and maintenance activities
- Synthesize findings into detailed reports and presentations
- Collaborate with groups such as business development, quality, characterization and operations to support business growth
- Contribute to the development of company intellectual property
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in materials science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of epitaxial growth experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Direct MOVPE experience preferred
- Understanding of electronic and optical device physics
- Knowledge of SPC principles and software packages
- Hands-on experience performing reactor maintenance
