Responsibilities

Design and refine trailer frames and structural components using Autodesk Inventor
Modify and improve existing designs to enhance performance and manufacturability
Lead new product development from concept through production launch
Collaborate closely with plant leadership and fabrication teams
Develop pilot builds and finalize designs for full production implementation
Assist or lead the creation of engineering department structure and workflows

Requirements

5+ years of practical engineering or design experience (8+ years preferred)
Strong structural and mechanical design capabilities
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, with expert-level considered a strong plus
Self-starter with the ability to manage projects independently

Cross-functional collaboration: partner daily with Drilling, Capital Projects, Well Service, Maintenance, and Accounting teams; translate technical data and project details for non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in the San Joaquin Valley oilfields.
Experience with heavy oil recovery methods, including thermal/steam and water flood processes.
A degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Strong field orientation with practical understanding of oil production processes beyond modeling.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions and a demonstrated interest in progressing into leadership responsibilities.
