Job Description
This senior role supports Air Force and Navy mission planning by managing cloud-based CI/CD infrastructure and guiding DevSecOps practices. The position emphasizes maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture while enabling rapid software development across multiple teams.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for cloud Information Assurance across diverse implementations.
- Protect high-availability systems by applying industry and DoD standards and best practices.
- Configure and secure underlying Azure and AWS resources used for build, release, and deployment pipelines.
- Support an enterprise CI/CD environment spanning multiple servers, operating systems, and applications.
- Deploy, review, patch, and test systems to ensure alignment with build and security requirements.
- Resolve tickets and problem reports across technologies and hardware/software components, including COTS/GOTS products, from system level to individual components.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and server upkeep.
- Create and maintain accurate maintenance documentation for systems.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret or higher clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent to meet DoD 8570 compliance.
- 4+ years of Windows and Linux system administration, with 2+ years in an Azure or AWS cloud environment.
- Experience applying and debugging STIG settings and conflicts in Windows and Linux servers and hosted applications.
- Experience interpreting vulnerability scan outputs (Nessus, SCAP, Evaluate STIG, etc.) and remediating findings.
- Proficiency with system troubleshooting tools such as top, iostat, vmstat, netstat, lvm, and fdisk.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including OSI model, LAN/WAN, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, VLANs, edge services, and point-to-point VPN setup within cloud environments.
- Experience with identity management and authentication tools such as LDAP, SAML, and PKI.
