Senior Cyber Systems Engineer (Enterprise Network Cybersecurity)
Job Description
The Senior Cyber Systems Engineer (Enterprise Network Cybersecurity) provides strategic leadership within Universal Orlando's Digital and Technology division, partnering with cyber security teams and UDX stakeholders to support secure design, development, and deployment across diverse technology stacks. As a member of the Cyber Security Assurance team, this role serves as a subject matter expert guiding cyber security strategy and risk management across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Support UDX in securely designing, implementing, and deploying systems; validate designs as requested by the business; ensure the UDX network remains secure.
- Address complex technical and integration challenges with creative, secure solutions.
- Contribute to the development of security practices for UDX networks using an intelligence- and threat-driven defense model.
- Identify and communicate key risks and the organization’s security posture to senior leadership.
- Foster effective collaboration across UDX business units.
- Mentor junior security engineers and architects.
- Contribute to communities of excellence and best practices as appropriate.
- Lead initiatives to realize the technology vision within the security domain.
- Collaborate with other cyber security teams to define and document a multi-year security technology vision and roadmap.
- Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following Universal Orlando policies and procedures, training, and team activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or Cyber Security is required.
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in a technical role within a large team setting (e.g., Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure, Networking, Cyber Security, Architecture).

Additional Information
- This position is based in Orlando, Florida and may require travel to other NBCUniversal parks and properties on occasion.
- Regular on-call rotation duty is expected.
