Job Description
Propelus is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to transform raw data into actionable insights, design scalable data infrastructure and analytics pipelines, and deliver essential datasets and reports that drive data driven decision making across the company. This onsite role is based in Boulder, CO.

Role Overview
In this position you will convert raw data into actionable intelligence, build and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure, and provide key datasets and reports to support data driven decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and sustain scalable ETL pipelines to source data from diverse systems and load it into the data warehouse.
- Create and optimize data models to support analytical needs and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models and analytics solutions.
- Monitor data quality and address data integrity issues.
- Contribute to data documentation and metadata governance practices.
- Engage stakeholders to capture data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Assist in evaluating and adopting new data technologies and tools.
- Participate in code reviews and help establish coding standards and best practices.
- Manage assigned tasks and projects independently, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize data processes and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data warehousing services (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with data testing frameworks.
- Experience with ETL tools and techniques such as Apache Airflow and dbt.
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles and data warehouse architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python or Java).
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative coding.
