Job Description
Uline is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data collection systems and an analytics platform, collaborating with users to craft BI and data warehouse solutions that drive analytics across the organization. This on-site role in Waukegan, IL carries a salary range of USD 96,000 to 148,000 per year and centers on partnering with stakeholders to implement and test data warehouse applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users to design and implement BI and data warehouse solutions.
- Work with project leads, analysts, and business stakeholders to deploy and validate data warehouse applications.
- Develop sophisticated data engineering processes to support analytics and reporting.
- Conduct unit, performance, and regression testing on ETL mappings.
- Adhere to coding standards, perform code reviews, and enhance quality practices.
- Manage production deployments and coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute.\n
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
- Minimum eight years of experience in data engineering.
- At least five years of hands-on ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Proficient in writing complex T-SQL and tuning database performance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve data issues.
- Knowledge of SSIS, Python, Azure or Databricks is a plus.
- Uline does not participate in the H1-B lottery.
