Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer role within Experis’ Data & Analytics department supports cross-functional teams by delivering reliable, scalable data solutions. The position focuses on batch and real-time pipeline development and on building and maintaining enterprise analytics platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and marts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing.
• Build and manage enterprise data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts to support analytics needs.
• Develop ETL/ELT solutions using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and data scientists to confirm and translate data requirements.
• Optimize data processing workflows to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and building large-scale data platforms.
• Expertise in data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
