Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer

Everforth (via Cybercoders) is building AI for regulated healthcare environments where accuracy matters and failures are not acceptable. This onsite San Francisco, CA role is designed for engineers who want to own the full lifecycle of production healthcare AI systems, from architecture and deployment to monitoring and continuous improvement. You will work closely with founders on product and technical strategy and help teams set the standards for code quality, reliability, and operational discipline.

Compensation: $180,000 - $250,000 base per year (calibrated to experience and impact), plus stock options in the 0.3% - 1.0% range. This position is onsite full time in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural decisions for deploying AI into clinical workflows at scale
• Own major systems end-to-end, from customer discovery and requirements through architecture, implementation, and production reliability
• Build and mentor the technical team, including setting engineering standards and reviewing design and code
• Set the bar for code quality, testing, and operational excellence
• Identify and build customer-facing features that expand product impact
• Partner directly with founders on product and technical strategy
• Navigate complex stakeholder environments across clinical, compliance, and business teams with authority and credibility
• Define and execute technical strategy for healthcare AI systems, architecting and shipping sophisticated solutions
• Build and lead intelligent data pipelines, multi-step agent workflows, and systems that parse medical information at scale
• Ensure integrations with healthcare standards and interoperability requirements
• Own deployment strategy, monitoring, and continuous improvement across production systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• React and Python
• Startup environment experience
• Production LLM experience

Technology Stack

Backend: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, data validation frameworks, workflow orchestration

Frontend: TypeScript, React, modern build tooling, component libraries

Infrastructure: AWS services, Terraform, containerization, GitHub Actions, monitoring/observability

AI/ML: Leading LLM providers in production
