Senior GCP Data Engineer

Temple, TX (onsite) is the focus for this Senior GCP Data Engineer position at Sgn Global Technologies. The role centers on building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and data integration solutions, translating business needs into technical delivery. This is a W2 opportunity with pay of $65.00 to $75.00 per hour, and the work authorization requirements are clearly defined for US Citizens and Green Card holders only.

Requirements

• Progressive experience in data engineering, data integration, or related technical roles (minimum 14 years experience).
• Strong experience with SQL and Python, plus modern data engineering frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and database design principles.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and services in Azure and/or GCP.
• Experience with DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, workflow orchestration, and automated testing.
• Experience with big data technologies, distributed processing frameworks, or cloud-native data architectures is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
