Based in Las Vegas, NV, this onsite role centers on deep investigation in the Planning and Controls stack, turning triage findings into validated fixes and measurable improvements to engineering workflows.
In this position, you will work across the engineering lifecycle from issue discovery to deployment, while helping bridge on-road realities with active development work.
What you will do

- Lead delivery of software fixes, including development, testing, and deployment when an immediate solution is needed due to business requirements.
- Improve internal workflows by building tooling and scripts that accelerate log analysis, automate recurring patterns, and increase overall team efficiency.
- Serve as a technical liaison between teams to maintain alignment between on-road issues and what is currently being worked on in development.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field. A Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
- 3+ years of C++ software development experience, focused on high-performance and resilient systems.
- Comfort working within large, complex codebases where modularity and documentation matter.
- Experience delivering software in production, including familiarity with CI/CD, version control at scale, and disciplined release cycles.
- Strong motivation for a driverless future and an understanding of the high stakes involved in deploying software that interacts with the physical world.
Technologies
- C++
Bonus (not required)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
- Background in robotics middleware (ROS, DDS) or autonomous systems.
