Senior Software Engineer, Data

FloQast is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Data to build high-impact, user-focused capabilities end to end in a fast-paced setting. This hybrid role is based in San Jose, CA, and includes full SDLC ownership along with close collaboration across engineering, sales, and customers.

The Senior Software Engineer, Data will help translate customer feedback and product needs into shipped features, while also contributing to the engineering process and systems that improve team velocity.

Responsibilities

• Build high quality, user focused experiences from the ground up using React, NodeJS, and MongoDB
• Use AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Step Functions to move features to market quickly and efficiently
• Collaborate on the technical vision by participating in, or leading, discussions and implementation across complex projects
• Continuously act on customers’ product feedback, data, and growth needs to support an agile environment
• Continuously improve engineering process, tools, and systems to help the team do more with less
• Fully own or pair on vertically sliced features through the full SDLC, including code review, deployments, and production support for applications and external APIs

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional full stack experience at one or more referenceable companies, including web app development, RESTful API design, or data modeling
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React, NodeJS, or MongoDB, with the ability to think and develop in their patterns and practices
• Strong experience with tools like Snowflake
• Track record of shipping high-quality products and features to customers and developing projects at scale
• Ability to quickly convert business and product ideas into engineering solutions
• Motivation driven by taking products to market, solving customer problems, and growing craft through business expansion

Additional Information

• FloQast is headquartered in Los Angeles & San Jose, CA and is seeking US-based hybrid engineers
• Base pay range for this position is $144,000 - $216,000 per year
• Compensation is not limited to base salary
