Job Description

Logic, through Accenture Flex, is hiring a Junior Software Engineer for a hybrid role supporting a client environment in the Dallas, TX or Charlotte, NC area. In this position, you will contribute to backend services and RESTful API development while working on data extraction, validation, and transformation workflows.

The work includes building and maintaining microservices, improving reliability through monitoring and automation, and supporting data migration activities. This is an hourly role based in Irving, TX, with hybrid onsite expectations.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external applications.
  • Create SQL-based data workflows for extraction, validation, and transformation.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects.
  • Support improved application reliability through automation and proactive monitoring.
  • Implement CRUD operations and service integrations.

Required qualifications

  • Java 17+ with 1–3 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Spring Boot with 1–3 years of experience building backend services, APIs, or microservices.
  • SQL with 1–3 years of experience with queries, CRUD operations, and data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • RESTful APIs with 1–3 years of experience developing and integrating backend APIs and services.
  • Data Processing and Migration with 1–3 years of experience or hands-on exposure to data migration, validation, and transformation.
  • HS Diploma / GED.

Preferred qualifications

  • Python 3.10+ (1+ year) for scripting, automation, or data processing exposure.
  • Shell Scripting (1+ year) for scripting and automation.
  • CI/CD Pipelines (1+ year) with knowledge of automated build and deployment pipelines.
  • Application Monitoring & Automation (1+ year) through experience improving reliability or providing operational support.

Compensation and location

  • Location: Irving, TX (hybrid)
  • Onsite requirement: Hybrid role in Dallas, TX or Charlotte, NC; requires three days per week at the client site.
  • Pay: USD 34–36 per hour
