DataAnnotation is seeking a Software Engineer with a focus on AI training to help shape how models learn from real code. This remote, flexible role involves designing and solving coding challenges for AI training, writing clear code with thorough explanations, and evaluating AI generated solutions to guide future model improvements. The position is based in Eugene, Oregon, with remote work options available.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems.
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
Provide feedback that directly shapes the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
Excellent writing and grammar skills.
A bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
