Job Description

DataAnnotation is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Trainer to help shape AI models and chatbots by designing training tasks, generating clear code examples, and evaluating AI produced code. This contract, remote-friendly role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to collaborate with a distributed team focused on building high quality training data for next generation AI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems.
  • Produce clear, high quality code snippets along with thorough explanations.
  • Assess AI generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
  • Deliver feedback that informs the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English (native or bilingual level).
  • Proficiency in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
  • Strong writing and grammar skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
  • Prior experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
