Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Trainer in Ottawa, OH, with remote work options. This contract role supports training AI systems by designing and solving coding problems, delivering high quality code with explanations, and evaluating AI-generated code, all within a flexible remote schedule.

Responsibilities

• Create and solve a variety of coding problems used to train AI models.
• Produce clear, high quality code snippets accompanied by thorough explanations.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
• Provide actionable feedback that informs the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Fluency in English at a native or bilingual level.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
