Software Engineer Analyst - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation offers a remote contracting role as a Software Engineer Analyst - AI Trainer. Based in Bar Harbor, ME, this position provides a remote setup with flexible scheduling and project-based work, plus competitive hourly compensation and the chance to influence the direction of AI model development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and solve a variety of coding challenges used to train AI systems.
• Deliver clear, well-documented code snippets accompanied by thorough explanations.
• Assess AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and readability.
• Provide actionable feedback that informs the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• English fluency at native or bilingual level.
• Proficiency in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Strong writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor’s degree either completed or in progress.
• Prior experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
