Software Engineer Analyst - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is seeking a Software Engineer Analyst to serve as an AI Trainer in a remote contract role, based in Des Plaines, Illinois. You will help train AI models by designing coding problems, writing code and explanations, and evaluating AI-generated code. The position offers a flexible schedule, fully remote work, and hourly pay ranging from $50 to $100, with potential bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Create and solve a variety of coding challenges that serve as training material for AI systems.
• Produce clean, well-documented code samples along with thorough explanations.
• Assess AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Deliver actionable feedback to influence future AI model iterations.

Requirements

• Fluency in English, native or bilingual level.
• Proficiency in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
