Job Description
SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain in house test infrastructure and applications used for production and integration testing and high fidelity simulations, onsite in Hawthorne, CA, with a focus on SpaceXAI and enhanced testing tooling across flight systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain the core test infrastructure framework and related applications used across SpaceX teams
- Increase reliability, performance, and safety of test software and infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with flight software engineers and stakeholders to define new features and improve user experiences
- Own the end to end software engineering and product development for test infrastructure
- Analyze user challenges to design efficient, scalable solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a scientific discipline; or 2+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
- 1+ years of experience with C/C++
- 1+ years of experience with Python
Technologies

ITAR requirements

Compensation
- Pay Range for Software Engineer Levels I and II: Level I: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year; Level II: $145,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
