Sr. MEMS Development Engineer

SiTime Corporation is seeking a Sr. MEMS Development Engineer to lead the design, characterization, and advancement of MEMS devices, fueling the next generation of SiTime products. This onsite role is based in Dexter, MI and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams as well as engagement with local and overseas vendors. A Ph.D. in ME, EE, Physics, or an equivalent field, together with a minimum of one year of experience, provides the baseline for this advanced engineering position.

Responsibilities

• Design MEMS devices and evaluate their electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance.
• Improve and expand automated infrastructure for MEMS design, data collection, and analysis.
• Plan, execute, and analyze experiments to investigate device physics, materials properties, and fabrication processes.
• Coordinate with local and international vendors.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams spanning Circuits, Systems, and Packaging.
• Lead or support projects aligned with company objectives as required.
• Provide support for additional ongoing projects as needed.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in ME, EE, Physics, or equivalent
• Proven scientist capable of designing, executing, and interpreting experiments
• Strong grounding in mechanics, electrodynamics, and thermodynamics
• Solid understanding of MEMS device fundamentals
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated drive to deliver outstanding results
