About the platform

CrowdStrike Falcon Host includes two components: a sensor installed on client machines that observes system activity, recognizes malicious behavior, provides on-box prevention, and sends remote telemetry to the cloud. The cloud component aggregates telemetry per customer network, correlates malicious behavior across machines, and delivers a prioritized summary of detected threats to customers’ operations teams.

What you bring

  • C/C++ expertise
  • Swift experience required for macOS-focused candidates; Windows OS Kernel and Driver Development experience required for Windows-focused candidates
  • Hands-on experience operationalizing machine learning models on the endpoint, including building data pipelines that collect, transform, and deliver sensor telemetry for training, evaluation, and on-device inference
  • Extensive fundamental understanding of internals for your primary platform (macOS, Linux, or Windows)
  • Proven ability to debug memory corruption issues, process contention, and system performance bottlenecks
  • Experience collaborating with teams to deliver major features and releases
  • Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and operate effectively within a geographically distributed team

Helpful experience

  • Background in developing scalable, lightweight, high-performance systems
  • In-depth OS expertise regarding core concepts and subsystems
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
