Staff Machine Learning Engineer - VoIP Infrastructure

Galliot is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to build machine learning capabilities for voice communication infrastructure, with a focus on improving call quality, reliability, and automated voice processing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning solutions tailored to VoIP systems
• Build and refine models for voice analytics and communication optimization
• Drive improvements to call quality, latency, and overall system performance
• Work closely with infrastructure and software engineering teams
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain production machine learning systems
• Assess model performance and propose technical improvements based on results

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience spanning machine learning and software engineering
• Strong Python programming and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, RTP, or telecommunications systems
• Experience deploying scalable production services
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication
