Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to work as an AI Trainer in a contract, remote-friendly role based in Quincy, MA. You will design coding problems, craft clear code with explanations, and evaluate AI-generated solutions to influence future AI models. This position offers flexible scheduling and an hourly rate ranging from $50 to $100 USD, with potential bonus opportunities on select projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve a variety of programming challenges used to train AI systems.
• Write clear, high-quality code snippets accompanied by thorough explanations.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and readability.
• Provide feedback that informs the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Native or bilingual-level fluency in English.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Prior experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
