DataAnnotation is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer to design and solve coding problems used for training AI systems, deliver high quality code with clear explanations, and evaluate AI-generated code to shape future model improvements. This contract role is fully remote with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems.
Write clear, high quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
Provide feedback that directly shapes the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
Excellent writing and grammar skills.
Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.

Compensation

Hourly rate: USD 50 - 100 per hour.
