Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation offers a fully remote role with flexible scheduling and hourly pay. As a Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer, you will design and solve coding problems to train AI systems, craft clear code snippets with explanations, and assess AI-generated code. This position provides remote work across eligible regions, autonomy over project choices, and potential higher bonus rates on certain projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve varied coding problems used to train AI models.
• Produce clear, high quality code examples with detailed explanations.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
• Provide actionable feedback that informs the next generation of AI systems.

Requirements

• Fluency in English at native or bilingual level.
• Proficiency in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
