Systems Engineer – Regional Strike Programs(Hardware-Systems / Systems / Test & Integration / MBSE)
Job Description
General Dynamics Mission Systems seeks a Systems Engineer for the Regional Strike Programs in Pittsfield, MA, focusing on Test & Integration, MBSE, Requirements Analysis, and Hardware-Systems Engineering within a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering activities across Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems as assigned by the focus area.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Document, review, and manage system requirements using requirements-management tools and MBSE methods.
- Participate in design reviews and support verification and validation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field; Agile experience preferred.
- 2+ years of professional Systems Engineering experience, including Test & Integration, Requirements Analysis, Model Based Systems Engineering, or Hardware-Systems work (Master's degree with 6 months of relevant experience accepted).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience in Systems Engineering across Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems.
- Knowledge of systems design, MBSE modeling, and simulation.
- Familiarity with requirements-management tools (DOORS, Cameo, or similar).
- Experience with defense, aerospace, or mission-critical systems.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field plus at least 2 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 6 months of relevant experience.

Clearance Requirements
- DoD Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
- Applicants may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within GDMS facilities.

Compensation
- Salary range: USD 100,000 - 110,000 per year
