Summary
Lead a repair lab team responsible for repairing, calibrating, and testing equipment, ensuring adherence to applicable standards, safety procedures, and expected turnaround times, alongside providing technical leadership within the lab environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision, coaching, and mentorship to technicians; oversee scheduling, performance, and staffing requirements.
- Direct daily lab operations, including receipt, testing, diagnosis, repair, and dispatch of products.
- Ensure all repairs and tests comply with company standards, ISO 9001, and safety procedures.
- Serve as the technical expert for complex troubleshooting, failure analysis, and data interpretation.
- Manage calibration and upkeep of specialized test equipment.
- Monitor and report performance metrics to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Requirements
- 3 to 7 plus years in a technical lab or depot environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Graduate degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of semiconductor testing, electronic troubleshooting, and Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
